As the end of the school year approaches quickly here are some dates to be aware of.
May 11 - ALL WORK FOR STAR DUE!!
May 13 - STAR letters sent home
May 16 - STAR
*AM STAR for all students who earned both 3rd and 4th
quarter STAR.
*PM STAR for all students who earned 4th quarter STAR.
*concession stand will be open :)
May 17 - lunch provided by 6th grade team; final locker clean out
May 18 - LAST DAY OF SCHOOL (1/2 day)

We will finish up the facing fear unit.
-Quiz - "In the Spotlight" comprehension/vocabulary quiz Tuesday, 5/10
-Read and discuss: "Choking Under Pressure Is Every Athlete's Worst Nightmare" magazine article by Dana Hudepohl
-Vocabulary: ambush, aggression, confidence, distract, queasy, consequences, technique, perspective
-Reading Response: Final grade :)
-Idiom of the Week: Final grade :)
-Homework: "Ozified!" due Friday, 5/13
