update from parent conferences re: homework help
I enjoyed visiting with many of the parents during conferences last week. The topic of homework came up several times and I mentioned to some parents that I was looking into posting the answers to the homework questions on this website to help out. Unfortunately, copyright laws prohibit me from posting the publisher's content on this website as it is not a password protected site. I'm continuing to seek resources to assist and guide students (and parents) with homework. Until then, the homework answers are available in my classroom for students to look at anytime.

all about the teacher - Mr. Myers
My name is Nick Myers and I am a 6th and 7th grade math teacher and cross country coach at Tonganoxie Middle School. I grew up in Kansas and went to KU to major in engineering. After graduating from KU, I worked in several cities around the U.S. before moving back to Kansas and beginning school to become a teacher. My first years of teaching were spent in Kansas City, KS teaching high school and middle school. In 2005, I took a job on the Mediterranean island of Cyprus teaching high school math and science. During my time overseas I also lead an outdoor education program, training youth in orienteering and camping skills. In 2012, I returned to the Kansas with my wife and son and started teaching in Tonganoxie in January 2013. We moved just outside of town later that year and have enjoyed being a part of this community.
My planning period is 6th hour (12:23-1:07). My extension is 3058 and my email address is [email protected].
I’m excited to get to know all the students and families this year.
